The Daily Shell: Number Thirty-seven

The small speck tucked inside the pure, white shell reminded me of the early stages of my confidence. My little voice began as a tiny seed in my head. Years of life experiences nourished it and with the passage of time, it became my bigger voice. But along the way, troublesome events challenged the progress. I had to slow down to fortify my confidence with self-love. So I took the little shell home to smother it with affection and to protect it from harm.
