Elizabethtown Author Visit

In Book & Story News, Events

I will be making an Elizabethtown Author Visit at East High Street Elementary School in Elizabethtown, PA on Wednesday November 6, 2024.

My second children’s picture book, Henri to the Rescue, will be the featured book. I will read out loud a portion of the selected book. In addition, I  will be introducing the pieces of my elementary literacy incentive, Plant a Seed and Watch Your Story Grow.

There will be two school-wide assemblies. The first will be for morning kindergartners and second graders at 9:45 am. The second presentation will be for afternoon kindergartners and first graders at 2:00 pm.

I would like to give a special thank you to two people who made these events possible. First, Derek Witmer, Elementary Assistant Principal at the Elizabethtown Area School District opened the door for an author visit. Thank you Derek for making this happen.

In addition, I would like to thank Justine Runkel, PTO representative at East High Street Elementary School. Justine worked to set up the logistics and arranged for pre-event book sales. Thank you Justine for your many emails and your careful  attention to event details.

I am excited to share Henri to the Rescue. Hopefully, I can inspire young readers and writers and help them to find their own Story Seed. Plant it. And watch it grow.

All three of my children’s books, Henri’s Home, Henri to the Rescue, and Heidi Saves the Day will be available for signed purchases.
