Nooks Author Event
I will be at a Nooks Author Event on Saturday August 8, 2026 at 11:00 am.
Nooks Gallery & Book Shop is an independent bookstore located at 112 N. Prince Street Lancaster, PA.
The current owners, Maile and Shawn Smucker purchased the original Nooks in 2024 and expanded the store and moved it to its present location at 112 N. Prince St in downtown Lancaster.
I first discovered the original Nooks in 2022. I read my first children’s book, Henri’s Home there.

On Saturday August 8, 2026 I will be reading my newest and fourth children’s picture book, The Lady and The Mouse.
If you are looking for something entertaining for your child this Saturday, come on down to the Nooks Author Event and enjoy a reading of The Lady and The Mouse. The illustrations by the talented Lisa Madenspacher will delight you.
There will be a craft for young children after the story. Autographed purchases can be made of the featured children’s picture book. In addition, Henri’s Home, Henri to the Rescue, and Heidi Saves the Day will also be available for purchase and signing.
