The  heartwarming story of Henri and his hermit crab family is beautifully illustrated by local artist Lisa Madenspacher. http://www.lisamadenspacher.com. Lisa interpreted my words in a magical way. In the throes of a pandemic, Lisa and I exclusively worked virtually! The collaborative project has been a perfect diversion and filled my days at home.

Throughout Henri’s unexpected beach adventure, the young hermit crab meets various friends of the sea. His perseverance leads him to realize the true value of home.

 back cover

This 9×7 hardback book can be read by a caring adult to a young child or enjoyed alone by an elementary school reader. The engaging story and beautiful, original water color illustrations will surely capture the imagination of both children and adults alike.

Henri’s Home is a perfect holiday gift. The beach scenes will encourage warmth against the winter chill that will soon be upon us. The colorful pages allow you to escape and dream about future trips to the beach.

So, I invite you to check out my newest book and add it to your holiday shopping list to share with a special little one or to treat your whimsical inner-self.

In addition, I encourage you to check out my entire updated website. Nick Bloomer, my web designer at Social Fire Media, and I refreshed my website with a new, modern look. The design is easier to navigate but still contains all of the blog posts and book and published story information.

Kim
