Henri to the Rescue is the sequel to Henri’s Home (2020) and the second collaborative children’s picture book with Lancaster, Pennsylvania artist, Lisa Madenspacher. lisamadenspacher.com.

Henri, a young hermit crab, and his new friend, Simon the Green Sea Turtle find themselves in a dangerous situation at the beach. They learn how to use their own strengths to solve their problem together. This beautifully illustrated 43 page hard cover book highlights the importance of diversity through its constant refrain, You are you and I am me.

Henri to the Rescue introduces some new friends of the sea along with Pedro the Pelican to tell a heartfelt story of friendship and acceptance. Children and families alike will enjoy this exciting story and the beautiful water color pictures.
